  • 111W57 on 111 West 57th Street. The 1,428-foot-tall (435-meter-tall) building in Midtown Manhattan will not only offer unobstructed views of Central Park, it will also be the slenderest skyscraper in the world, with a width-to-height ratio of 1:24

  • The historic Steinway Hall, originally built in 1925 by Warren & Wetmore, is currently being reimagined and integrated with the modern new tower

432 Park Avenue: 1,396 feet ​(426 m)
  • New York City’s current tallest residential building ​
  • Completed 2014
  • Rafael Viñoly architect
  • The priciest thus far is a three-unit combo that sold for a whopping $91 million

2 World Trade Center: 1,340 feet
  • In 2015, Bjarke Ingels Group signed on to design this 1,340-foot tower, replacing original architects Foster + Partners. But in an unexpected twist, the assumed anchor tenant, News Corp., decided not to move downtown, leaving the fate of the tower—and Ingels’s design—up in the air. If and when it moves forward—Deutsche Bank allegedly has expressed interest—it could rise to 1,340 feet.

30 Hudson Yards: 1,296 feet (387 m)
  • Designed by Kohn Pederson Fox​
  • Observation deck, located on the building’s 75th floor and jutting out more than 1,000 feet (305 meters) above the city
  • Located at the intersection of 33rd Street and 10th Avenue
  • The second-tallest office tower in New York, taller than the Empire State Building
  • Rises to over 100 stories
  • TENANTS: WarnerMedia (CNN, HBO, Turner Broadcasting and Warner Bros. consolidating the divisions under one roof for the very first time), global investment firm KKR,  Wells Fargo Securities, one of the world’s largest financial services firms
  • ​Hudson Yards is New York’s newest neighborhood and home to more than 100 diverse shops and culinary experiences, offices for leaders in industry, significant public art and dynamic cultural institutions including The Shed, modern residences, 14 acres of public plazas, gardens and groves and the world’s first Equinox Hotel

45 Broad Street: 1,115 feet ​(366 m)
  • The Financial District’s tallest residential tower, standing more than 1,110 feet tall with 206 condos that come in studio through three-bedroom variants​
  • Prices will start at just under $1 million and go up to $6 million.

3 World Trade Center: 1,079 feet ​(329 m)
  • The 80-story office tower
  • Tenants like GroupM, Tiffany’s, and London-based steakhouse Hawksmoor will move in soon

53W53: 1,050 feet
  • ​Jean Nouvel architect. His expansive and globally diverse body of work includes museums, concert halls, opera houses, hotels and luxury residences
  • Prices $6 to $64 million 
  • Amenities include double-height lounge & private dining room provide unparalleled views of Central Park, Private state-of-the-art theater,  65-foot lap pool,  Private temperature-controlled wine vaults, Double-height wine tasting room designed by Thierry Despont,  special “benefactor” membership to MOMA and access to “small, private curatorial talks

The Spiral: 1,031 feet (509 W 34th St)
  • Bjarke Ingels architect
  • Design is most notable for the vertical gardens that wrap all around the exterior of the building​
  • The 2.2 million-square-feet office building will be developed at an estimated cost of $3.2 billion
  • One of the largest office buildings in the world

35 Hudson Yards: 1,009 feet
  • Designed by David Childs​
  • Retail space and an Equinox-run hotel with 217 rooms
One57: 1,005 feet
  • This mixed-use tower is home to both ultra-luxurious condos and rentals, as well as the Park Hyatt New York hotel​
  • It was briefly the city’s tallest residential building

One Manhattan West: 995 feet (401 9th Ave @ 33rd Street)
  • Brookfield’s mini-megaproject, located just a few blocks southeast of Hudson Yards, will include an office tower that will just reach supertall status, standing at 995 feet tall
